Refund policy

Your satisfaction with The Present Writer's products and services is our top priority. If there is any issue with your purchase, we are available to assist in resolving the matter and ensuring your contentment.


Return & Refund/Exchange (for Defects or Damages Only)

If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect or damage, we’re here to help. You must report the issue within 14 days of receiving your order.

To initiate a return, refund, or exchange, please contact us at support@thepresentwriter.com with the subject line:

Return/Exchange Request + [Order Number]

Please include in your email:

  • Order number.

  • Name used to place the order.

  • Reason for return or exchange.

  • Clear photos of the product showing the damage or defect.

To qualify for this process, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Unused.

  • In the same condition as received.

  • In all of its original packaging (You may open the product to inspect it. However, it must remain unused and be returned in its original packaging for approval).

Used products or items not in their initial state are ineligible for returns.

For items damaged or missing components not due to our error, only a partial refund MAY be granted.

  • For approved U.S. returns, we cover the return shipping cost.

  • For international orders, returns are not accepted due to high shipping costs. However, if the issue is determined to be our fault, we may offer a replacement or partial refund, depending on the situation.

Once the returned item is received and inspected, you’ll be notified by email. Refunds (when applicable) will be issued to your original payment method within 1–2 weeks of receiving the return.

We offer either a refund or a replacementnot both—depending on your preferred resolution and the nature of the issue. Please let us know in your email whether you would like a refund or a replacement.

We do not accept returns or refunds for reasons other than damage or defect. Please consider your purchase carefully before placing your order. Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order due to a mistake or a change of mind, please contact us immediately via our website chat box below or email support@thepresentwriter.com with "Cancel Order + [Order Number]" in the subject line. 

We can only accommodate cancellation requests if the order has not yet been processed and shipped. Once an order has been processed and shipped (indicated by a sent tracking number), we cannot accept cancellations. At this stage, if you still wish to not keep the product, the following applies:

  • U.S. Customers: If your order has already been shipped, you must follow our Return Policy above upon receipt of the product. 

  • International Customers: Due to extensive complications with international processing and shipping, international orders cannot be returned or refunded if canceled post-shipment.

Lost Mail Disclaimer

While we do everything in our power to ensure your package arrives safely, we are not responsible for lost mail once the package has left our facility and is in the hands of the delivery service. We encourage you to purchase shipping insurance to safeguard your order against loss or damage. Without insurance, if your package is lost due to a shipping error and you do not receive your order, please contact us at support@thepresentwriter.com. We will do our best to assist you, but please understand that refunds or replacements for lost mail not due to our error are not guaranteed.

International Orders Disclaimer

Orders shipped outside the U.S. may incur customs and import duties, payable upon receipt. These fees are variable by country and payable to your local carrier or government, not collected by The Present Writer (Present and Create LLC). By placing an order, you agree to pay these fees without reimbursement. Please monitor your email for notifications from our carriers (DHL, USPS, UPS) regarding any potential extra charges that may arise after your order is placed (View more details at Order Process). Failure to pay required fees within the designated period will result in the disposal of your order by the carrier, and no refund will be issued.
